This album is somewhat of a break from what I typically listen to. It is straight-forward and honest, stripped down and beautiful. Paste magazine has been raving about this folk-er for a little while now, and it's clearly evident why. The most striking thing about this record, though, is how familiar it feels. Not that it sounds like another record by another band, but that the songs just have this incredibly familiar quality, almost like looking into the face of an old friend that you maybe don't know anymore, or like déjà vu. Take a listen for yourself and fall in love with this amazing singer-songwriter
