TV on the Radio - Dear Science,

TV on the Radio is a band that I have always wanted to like, but maybe haven't given the proper attention they deserve. Their first album Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes is decent, but nothing to write home about in my opinion. That brings us to their next album Return To Cookie Mountain, which is the album that Rolling Stone and every other music magazine in the free world was officially crapping in their pants about. Don't get me wrong, it was a good album, and I love the track "Wolf Like Me", but it still was a little too much for me to get into.

Dear Science is very much a step in the same direction. The songs are kind of repetitive, some are more fun than others. I wouldn't say that this is necessarily a bad album, by any means. I will say, though, that if I'm in the mood for something indie, I could probably find something else that would satisfy that mood better than TV on the Radio.

This, however, is written based on first impressions, which may change. Who knows...

Oh yeah, and this album isn't in stores yet, so enjoy it a little early.
