Whitley - The Submarine

"Whitley seamlessly blends organic acoustic flavours with electronic overtones creating songs with hushed, whimsical tales of love and loss. His debut album, 'The Submarine' was produced by Nick Huggins at the Huggins' family home in point Lonsdale, Victoria. I had heard of Whitley some time ago on the IMF channel [which no longer exists, to my knowledge]. I was watching music videos and they showed a clip of a video for the track "I Remember". Fast forward 6 months, and I still had no luck finding his album online or in any stores. Finally, someone found and posted it for me. Take the creativity of Sufjan Stevens, add the earthiness of Damien Rice and throw in a little Radiohead for flavor and you have Whitley. Wonderful.
