In any case, this is an album that deserves to be posted. Honest and stripped down, the music tells just as much of a story as Rice's open-chest lyrics do. Beautifully written songs, lush with violin and featuring Lisa Hannigan at times [I just got my hands on her solo album, I'll post it soon]. If you are a fan of the up-and-coming Irish folk scene that includes The Frames and The Swell Season, and this album has somehow escaped your attention, then I feel like this is the perfect opportunity to rectify that mistake.
